Address bars are not immune. Browser address bars typically render in the system UI font (San Francisco on macOS, Segoe UI on Windows). Both are standard sans-serif fonts in the high-danger-rate category. Chromium’s IDN homograph protection catches many cases by displaying punycode for suspicious mixed-script domains, but it relies on script-mixing heuristics, not pixel comparison.
